Depending on your current health insurance provider/plan, services may be covered in full or in part.
I accept the following insurance plans:
Aetna
BCBS PPO
Blue Choice/Options
United Healthcare, including Illinois Exchange and Oscar Health Plan
Optum/United EAP
If I am not in network with your insurance and you have out-of-network benefits, I can offer you a "superbill" for each session, which you can use to request reimbursement from your insurance provider. Please note that I do not currently accept Medicare or Medicaid.
I recommend you contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Consider asking these questions:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?on text goes here

Initial Intake Session (60 minutes): $225
Individual Therapy Session (50-55 minutes): $180*
* I believe therapy should be accessible to anyone seeking support. To help make this possible, I offer reduced rates through a sliding scale for those who qualify. If you're interested, please reach out to discuss options. While I may not always be able to offer sliding scale services, I will always respond with understanding and respect.

If you need to cancel a session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to the full session fee. I understand that life happens, and emergencies arise, so I strive to be as flexible as possible in these situations.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. *Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

The frequency of your therapy sessions is a collaborative decision we will make depending on factors including:
The severity of any symptoms you might be having;
The goals we’re working on in our sessions;
The stage of treatment you’re in; and
Your personal circumstances.
Most of my clients meet with me weekly or biweekly. However, I will always be responsive to your current needs, and meeting schedules can be adjusted at any time.

Therapy sessions are held on a HIPAA compliant online video platform. After your phone consultation, I will send you an invitation to enroll in my client portal. Your portal provides your access to the online meeting platform. In addition, I can send you text or email reminders with a link to each session meeting upon your request.

Benefits of therapy can include:

Enhanced communication and relationship skills: Therapy can help you communicate more effectively and build stronger relationships.
Greater self-esteem and confidence: Therapy can help you develop a more positive self-image.
Reduced symptoms of mental health conditions: Therapy can be effective in treating conditions like depression and anxiety.
